Jennifer Hew went 92-47 (.662) in the month of May.

Jennifer Hew, also known as Jennsation, claimed the monthly $2,500 prize with a record-shattering 92 wins in May, besting the previous mark of 85.

Hew demolished her competition and won the month by nine games. Helping her along the way were her 14-8 record during ESPN.com's Super Thursday stunt competition on May 21 and streaks of eight, seven and six.

Hew, who was born in Taiwan, resides in Lantana, Texas with her husband and two children (ages 6 and 3). She is a franchise owner of the Smoothie King store chain.

This University of New Orleans graduate's streak plan was to get off to a fast start and continue maximizing picks while looking for possible edges in certain matchups. But she also had a little extra luck.

"When in doubt about a pick, I went to my good luck charm, my 6-year-old son, Aaron. We are of Chinese descent, and in our culture, the number 8 is considered good luck since it is pronounced "ba," which sounds similar to "fa," which means good luck and fortune. Aaron was born eight minutes past midnight on the eighth day of the eighth month [August] while weighing in at exactly 8 pounds and 8 ounces. Needless to say, we call him our lucky charm," Hew said.

When closing in on 90 wins, Hew contemplated stopping at 88 for her son but wanted to make sure she kept her lead over the competition. After 90, she knew she had the record and wanted to set the bar as high as she could.

Hew also credits her husband, who did a majority of the research for her picks.

"My husband is the big sports fan, and he spent a lot of time determining the favorites, although some matchups we just went with our gut instinct," Hew said.

Unlike our past winners, Hew was not nervous toward the end of the month because of her immense lead. She just wanted to make sure she didn't experience a collapse, but the losing skids seemed to affect only her contenders, as many lost three or four games in a row.

Hew's family members are big New Orleans Saints fans, and they are cheering loudly for a deep playoff run this season. She was introduced to Streak for the Cash by her husband and loved the game from the first click.

The ESPN Poker Club is Hew's favorite section of ESPN.com, and she really wants to win one of the poker prizes, perhaps that free World Series of Poker seat in Las Vegas.

When asked what she would do with her prize money, Hew responded, "I'll do something fun with my teammates in life, my family. Maybe go on a cruise or some sort of trip."

Hew also thanks the kind people who left sentiments and congratulations. She looks forward to seeing her name at the top again before the end of the year.
